Reaching a character count of 500 would stop it there, add "..." and show a button to "View full post" to remove that limit, with that button text changing to "Hide full post" that would re-add that limit.
If someone quote-RP (or adding it in a post like nostr:address) would show that design within, as shown in /feed-posts in design, with the inside post having a character limit of 200 and without the expand button.
Making that repost button functional, and adding another button to quote-RP (design found in /feed-posts in design)
Reply system as shown in design
- this would be implemented for mods, long posts, and short posts in feed
- I'm assuming how "Reply depth: " and "Main post" function would work is via local cache save (it would save the progression of the user going down the reply tree / saving post IDs), with the giving a link of a comment to someone being .com/mod/id#commentID (where #commentID would trigger the pop-up and it would then start fetching the reply tree of comments/replies till it reaches the main post and saves it locally/cached).

From the last discussion we had on this, i think we agreed that we'll still have the current normal commenting system, but also integrate NIP-22, where NIP-22 is the main system for post comments and replies.

With that said, more projects are starting to use NIP-22 now. Examples:
